Hello! I am Rashida and I'm the founder and owner of Rashida Bakes Cafe. I was born in Columbia, SC but raised right here in Richmond, Va. I have always had a passion for cooking. I started watching my mom in the kitchen at 8 years old and haven't left since! I started baking when I was about 25-26 after I had my son. I have really fallen in love with the art. I am completely self taught. My passion for food has driven me to pursue food full time and open the cafe. I am forever evolving and getting better. I thank and love everyone for the constant kind words and support! This is just the begining for Rashida Bakes Cafe.
